When not distracted by more cerebral affairs or otherwise ensconced in my cave, I can usually be found playing guitar and singing in “The Madrones,” a local San-Francisco rock band. Much to our satisfaction (and hopefully the satisfaction of others) we have frequented local haunts like The Connecticut Yankee and 12 Galaxies (before it shut its doors).
Recently I have been putting together some music outside of the context of The Madrones. There has been no intentional purpose or goal necessarily, but rather a simple desire to let the songs come and go like the weather and lie as they may. Hence the need for the musings herein. I hope to have some kind of official release before too long, but until then I’ll fill these pages with what develops in my journey along the way.
